WARRINGTON JUNIOR OPEN 2009 in conjunction with ABU DHABI Junior Golf Championship presented by The Daily Telegraph As usual the standard of play was excellent with manners and etiquette to match. T RANSHI from Withington won with a marvellous score of 79 - net 63. D SWALES from Sandiway was a very close second with 77 - net 64. J RICE from Blundells Hill was third with 90 - net 66. Best girls net prize went to LAUREN HALLIWELL from Warrington with 98 net 72 with the best gross being won by EMILY ANDREWS from Delamere with a gross score of 94. The converted Daily Telegraph gross prize was taken by BRAD READ from Warrington with 71 gross. This score was entered on the national scoreboard for the Abu Dhabi Championship. Congratulations go to all those who won prizes but also to everyone for the high qualilty of play and good sporting spirit. We look forward to holding an equally enjoyable day next year with an even larger field.
